I caught up with my favorite activist who, when last seen, was pursuing her anti-wind farm campaign in the Scottish Highlands.
She said, somewhat sheepishly, while we were having a few jars at the World’s End Pub in Edinburgh, “I thought about protesting invasive fish species in our streams, but then I had one grilled and it was quite delicious.”
However, to be ready for the inevitable members of the press that dog her everywhere, I did notice she was wearing an unusually attractive blouse.
“Yes, I have found a vintage store on Grassmarket Street and had my tailor do the rest.”
“Well,” I interjected, “you can always protest uniformity. Man subjecting his fellow man to uniform thought and ideas.”
“You know that had occurred to me.”
