Antique wicker grape hod or back basket used to gather grapes. The worker would strap the basket on his back during harvest time. It is made of whole willow reed which allows the grapes to breath. It will stand on its wooden base, and would make a unique container for seasonal dried flowers, a collection of walking sticks or umbrellas. From the Burgundy region of France. Late 19th century.
