My dad's idea of a perfect day:
Pile into the car before sunrise and drive to Sandy Hook.
By noon we'd have a nice catch of striped bass and bluefish.
While we fished, he'd open the trunk and pull out a steel bucket with strategically placed holes around the base. We'd cook up the days' catch on a small grill that we laid across the top of the bucket.
Yep, a perfect day.
My Father's Bucket Grill (No. 2588). I've made a few modifications.
This one is lightweight galvanized steel with a stainless steel grill and a removable insert that holds the charcoal. Once you're done cooking, you can remove the coals, build a small wood fire, and watch the sun set.
Works equally well on balconies, at tailgates, or in mountain redoubts.
Dimensions: 10 ½ inches high. Bottom diameter, 12 inches. Top (grill) diameter, 16 inches. Imported. (Holes included in price.)
