Oak staves with reinforced metal ribs and grape vine ribs. Typical shape found in Alsace , complete with leather shoulder straps. Would have been filled with Pinot Gris and Tokay varietals. Stand alone or hang on wall with dried flowers, or as a handsome stand for canes, collection of mashies, umbrellas, or system sticks. Late 19th Century. Condition: B, 100+ years of wear, rust on metal ribs.
