Aigle has been making rubber boots since 1853 when its founder, American businessman Hiram Hutchison, purchased the vulcanized rubber patent from Charles Goodyear and opened a plant in Châllete-sur-Loing.
These boots are handmade by craftsmen who spend 2 years learning how to make a single pair of boots. They are waterproof, easy to put on and take off, comfortable and elegant.
You could get just any old pair of rain boots or you could get a pair made by the masters.
The Aigle Rain Boot (No. 5266). Handmade in France of premium quality natural rubber. Cotton lining and insole. Mid-calf height. 100% waterproof. Abrasion-resistant sole.
Women’s sizes: 5 through 11, whole sizes only.
