Colonel Roosevelt emerges from the woods on horseback and finds the men of the Ninth Regiment in his way.

"If you don't wish to go forward, let my men pass."

He got the Ninth to spring into line with his Rough Riders, and they charged up that famous hill.

Who wouldn't want to emulate a man like that?
